     ACU-BGSIT The Department Of Computer Science & Engineering Organized Value Added Course On Introduction To Python Programming For 5th Semester CSE Students From 4-12-2023 To 09-01-2024 (Total  8 Days ) . day1 & 2: 04/12/2023 & 05/12/2023 the resource person was Mr.Yogeshwar . day3 & 4: 14/12/2023 & 15/12/2023 the resource persons was Mrs.Raksha shetty (Alumini candidate ) & Ms. Chetana Khadse. Day5 28/12/2023 the resource persons was Mrs.Raksha sheety & Mr.yogeshwar. day6 29/12/2023 the resource person was Ms.Sowmya N. day7 08/01/2024 the resource person was Mr.Pavan kumar N. day8 09/01/2024 the resource person was Hariom Meena.

Panel Discussion on “Innovation & Start-up Ecosystem Enables-08/07/2023

Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized Panel Discussion on “Innovation & Start-up Ecosystem Enables” on 8th July 2023. Mrs. Raksha P.R(Alumini) , Data Scientist, Property Navigate, A Block. Hoysalanagar, Hormavu, Bengaluru-16, was the resource person. She elucidated about the Start-up ideas. This event is intended to build a strong eco-system to encourage new ideas and Startups in the country that will lead to economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities. Around 60 students from CSE department were participated in the event.

  

 

Technical Talk On Supply Chain system-28/10/2023

Department of Computer Science and Engineering Organized Technical Talk on "Supply Chain System" on October 27, 2023, Mr. Manohar G M, Supply Chain specialist at Dufry, Karle Tech Park, Nagavara, Bengaluru was the resource person. He is an alumni of our institution, Mr. Manohar's address was marked by the fundamental level of Supply Chain Management (SCM), the flow of goods, data, and finances related to a product or service.SCM encompasses everything from the procurement of raw materials to the delivery of the final product at its destination .Along with the Supply Chain Manager's task on controlling and reduce costs and avoid supply shortages.This technical talk generated a top-level model that is defined with five different processes, which is also known as components of Supply Chain Management, i.e  Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Return.Around 50 students of  Fifth Sem CSE department participated in this talk. Dr. Shashikala S V Head of Dept. CS&E and Mr. Santhosh B J, Assistant professor, were the Event Co- Ordinators.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized Webinar on “How to Plan for Start-up and Legal & Ethical Steps” on 29th May 2023. Mr. Karthik P N, Programmer, Cassquare, Bengaluru, was the resource person. He elucidated about the Start-up ideas, and Legal and Ethical issues and useful government organizations. This event is intended to build a strong eco-system to encourage new ideas and Startups in the country that will lead to economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities. Around 60 students from CSE department and faculties were participated in the event.

Workshop on Fundamental Programming on "Artificial Intelligence" by Alumni

Department of CSE & ISE Conducting 5 days workshop on “Fundamental Programming on Artificial Intelligence" in Association with Computer Society of India and Clear Basics at BGSIT on 8th November 2019. Resource person wasMr. AshwathPurushotham, Senior Engineer, JC Penney, Bengaluru. The workshop includes hands-on session to the students on AI. Faculties, 3rd and 4th Year Computer Science and Information Science Engineering students were present.
